Garlic Herb White Bean Dip

This is a super simple recipe to make that gives a big bunch. Perfect as an appetizer or to bring to a party. We ended up eating it for dinner! My littles LOVED this, once they ran out of things to dip in it they ate it by the spoon full!



  • 2 cans cannellini or great northern beans
  • 3 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary
  • 1 tbsp dried thyme
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp red whine vinegar


Heat the oil for a 60 seconds and then add the garlic, rosemary, and thyme. Cook until fragrant. (About 3-5 minutes)


While that cooks add the beans (if you want the dip very warm I heat the beans in the microwave for 30 -60 seconds first), red wine vinegar, salt and pepper to the blender or food processor. Add in the garlic herb oil.


And that’s it! So simple. Top with pine nuts and a drizzle of olive oil. We served ours with roasted cauliflower and breadsticks. Crostinis would be great for a party.


It will definitely be a regular for our family!
